1) What does A. mean by saying, "the soul proves that not everything that is susceptible of pain is susceptible of death?"

2) What is the point to A.'s discussions about all the odd physical/natural phenomena (cf. xxi,7,1)?

3) Why do you think that A. goes to such great lengths to point out that the suffering of the damned in hell will be physical and not merely mental/spiritual?

4) What is the reason that A. gives for our belief that the punishment of Satan is eternal and that he will never be rehabilitated?
